Where do deleted photos go? Nowhere permanent. Confirming a cleanup moves the photos to the system "Recently Deleted" album, where iOS keeps them for about 30 days. Until then you can restore any of them from the Photos app — Keepick never deletes anything outright.
Can I undo a swipe? Yes. Nothing is deleted while you swipe: photos land in the trash list first, you can review it and take anything back, and only the final confirmation moves them out of your library.
Why is the freed space smaller than the number I saw? Two reasons, both normal. Space comes back once iOS empties "Recently Deleted", not the moment you confirm. And if you use iCloud Photos, part of your library may live in the cloud with only a small preview on the phone — that is why a cleanup shows how much of it is actually stored on your iPhone.
Some photos take a while to appear. Those are stored in iCloud and have to be downloaded before they can be shown or shrunk. On a cellular connection this can use noticeable traffic, so the app warns you before it starts.
Why did the app group these photos together? Keepick looks for photos that look alike, not just exact duplicates: bursts, retakes, crops and re-saves end up in one pack, and the sharpest shot is suggested as the one to keep. You always decide what actually goes.
Why is a photo I like marked for deletion? The suggestion is only a suggestion. Swipe it to keep, and mark photos as favorites in the Photos app — favorites are taken into account when the best shot is chosen.
The first scan is slow. A large library takes a few minutes on the first run because every photo is analyzed on the device. You can start reviewing right away — packs appear as they are found — and later launches reuse the result.
What does "Keep & shrink" do? It saves a smaller copy of a video (1080p, HEVC) into your library and puts the original in the trash, so you keep the moment and get most of the space back. The saving shown on the button is the net one.
What is free? The first 20 decisions are free — reviewing, deleting and freeing space, with no account and no card. Keepick Pro removes the limit.
How do I cancel? Subscriptions are handled by Apple: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Keepick. Cancelling stops the renewal; the subscription stays active until the end of the paid period.
I paid but the app still asks me to. Open Account and tap "Restore purchases" — that re-checks your App Store account. If it still does not unlock, write to us and mention the Apple ID region and roughly when you bought it.
Refunds are issued by Apple, not by us: reportaproblem.apple.com.
The widget shows nothing. Open the app once after adding the widget — it needs one launch to prepare today's set. The widget updates once a day.
Turning reminders off. In Account, or in Settings → Notifications → Keepick. Reminders are local: they are scheduled on your iPhone, and no server is involved.
All photo analysis runs on your iPhone. Photos never leave the device, there is no account, and we operate no servers — details in the Privacy Policy.
